About YieldProof

What it is

YieldProof is a screener for cash-secured puts. A put pays you a premium today for agreeing to buy a stock at a lower price, and “cash-secured” means you keep the cash ready to do it.

Each trading day we scan publicly quoted options and rank them by probability of profit and yield. Every trade also shows the realistic bad case in dollars. The formula is published on the methodology page.

We also test the ranking in public. One paper account enters the top-ranked trades each trading day, and every result stays on the track record, losses included.

What it is not

• It is not investment advice. YieldProof is an educational research tool. Nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy or sell any security.
• It is not personal. The rankings are the same for every visitor. We don’t know your finances, goals, or risk tolerance.
• It does not place trades. We never hold your money or connect to your brokerage account.
